Home, Home On The Range

We're all finally home again and back under the same roof. Hana Grace and I had a wonderful visit to the lake this past week. We stayed four whole nights this time! We arrived on Monday and got to see Gramps for a second before he had to head off to work. After he left, we freshened up and headed to Grammy's work to see all the wonderful people she works with. We got to have lunch with her and then we headed over to Dian's to see her and Nana. Hana entertained them for a while and then it was time to go back to the Grandparents' for the evening. Hana's Daddy spent the night there with us and we all were able to spend some quality time together Tuesday, Veterans Day. Which reminds me to say again, thanks, Dad, for serving our country! Unfortunately Dad (aka Gramps) had to work on his holiday, Veterans Day, and Joe had to attend a meeting for a couple hours so Mom (aka Grammy), Hana Grace and I headed to (where else?) Wal Mart where we ran into Dian and Nana! LOL We were going to get to see Lauren and Pam Tuesday night, but the festivities came to a screeching hault when we received a devastating phone call that my Uncle Jeff had had a heart attack. He's doing much better now, is home from the hospital, and is expected to make a full recovery. Thank you, Lord! Wednesday Hana and I hung around Gramps and Grammy's house until their brand new furniture was delivered. Man, it's nice! The remainder of the week consisted of lots of family time, which we desperately needed. We arrived back home yesterday, and after two very long nights away from us Joe made it home as well. Aunt Victoria stopped by yesterday for her weekly visit and all is back to normal. We had a great time at the lake, but I do I have to say, it's always nice to be back home. Next weekend is Hana Grace's birthday party so we'll get to see everyone again really soon!
