Walker, Texas Baby

Hey, guys! It's been a while since I blogged, huh? Mommy has been doing an alright job at it, but I felt it was time to take over for a while. (Mommy is doing a lot better at blogging than a few others I won't mention)

What's going on in my world? Let's see. Yesterday I got to go to where Mommy worked up until she had me. I like visiting with all of them. Carol, Idris and Sharon are all really nice. I crawled all over the bank, but I had stage fright when Mommy tried to get me to walk for them. I walked as long as she held my hand, but once she let go I just got way too nervous and excited.

After visiting the bank I went with Mommy to early vote. That was interesting to me. Why, you ask? Because Mommy didn't know if there was going to be a long line or not so she put me in the big stroller and the polling place was not very stroller friendly. It was fun to see her try to maneuver me through the line and around inside the building. LOL I'm laughing now just thinking about it! After we voted we went to see Annie, Helen and Thomas. I love that Helen (who is 2 1/2) calls me Nana, it makes me feel special, just like my Nana must feel! Annie gave me two big bags of Helen's old clothes to wear! That was so sweet of her! I am wearing some of them right now. They are mostly 18 months, so they are kind of big on me, but I'd rather them be too big than too small! The only difference I've found in 18 month clothes versus 12 month clothes is they are longer. The legs are longer on the pants and the sleeves are longer on the shirts.

Tomorrow we're hosting a play date and then Friday we're going to story time with Annie, Helen and Thomas and then Aunt Victoria will come over. Then that night I get to help Mommy and Daddy hand out Halloween candy! It's an exciting time!
