5 Days & Counting!

Well the countdown has begun. I can't tell you how excited I am to see Uncle Hollywood and Aunt Beverly Hills. Mommy has all her packing lists made. Let's see, there's one for me, one for her, and two for the airplane (to and from California). She's even added to the list to remember to pack the list for the trip home. Will I be as anal as her some day?

This morning Mommy was all excited because she said she finally mastered Grammy's sausage gravy. She even took this video to prove how she cooked it to perfection.
She made sausage biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs and hash browns. It was way too much food. There's a lot left over. I didn't get any of it though. I had banana peach oatmeal (somebody's got to be healthy!).

I learned how to make a new noise last night. All I do is experiment with my mouth and tongue and find ways to make different sounds and every once in a while I find one that makes Mommy and Daddy laugh really hard, so of course that one becomes my favorite until I find another one that makes them laugh! Check me out:

Earlier I took a nap in grandpa's arms. Daddy had to run and get the camera to take a picture of it. What's the deal with all theses pictures and videos anyway? Mommy doesn't take pictures and videos of Daddy all the time, but Daddy tells me she used to take pictures of Pagan the way she does me now. Pagan told me she got over having her picture taken years ago and got to where she just wouldn't look at the camera anymore, but that didn't stop Mommy! Anyway, here's the picture of me napping with Grandpa. (check out his new hair cut!)
I guess I should start wrapping things up. It's almost time for dinner and after that I'll play until I get sleepy. I usually turn in around 9:30 to 10:00. I haven't had a bad night in a few days now. That other tooth still hasn't come out yet but Daddy says he can see it, so it should be joining the other three any day now. With my luck it'll be just in time for my trip to Hollywood and I won't be able to truly enjoy myself because I'll be in pain. That will really suck. I know Mommy's prepared for that though, I saw she has Tylenol and teethers on the packing list.

Oh, I almost forgot to tell you something! One of Mommy's friends recommended giving me Hyland's Homeopathic Teething tablets. Mommy looked them up online and told me that people just rave about them. They never did much for me, but Mommy only gave me two doses of two. When she took me to see the doctor she asked him about them and the conversation went a little something like this:

MOMMY: A friend of mine suggested I give Hana Hyland's Homeopathic Teething Tablets. Have you ever heard of them?

DOCTOR: Yes, I have. Have you tried them?

MOMMY: Yeah, only twice. They didn't seem to do a thing for her.

DOCTOR: Well, then I probably wouldn't give her anymore. I won't tell you not to use them, especially if they help when nothing else will, but one of the active ingredients in that, Belladonna, is actually psychedelic mushrooms.

MOMMY: -silence- (mouth open)

DOCTOR: (laughing) Yeah, so unless you're in to that kind of thing, peace signs and whatnot...

Mommy was giving me psychedelic mushrooms?! LOL And she bought them at Kroger!

Holla!
