That's My Daughter!

We had a GREAT night last night! We're all so well-rested today, I couldn't be happier! I've put a small fan in Hana's room for white noise and it seems to work magically. I think the white noise plus getting back into her regular routine and her own crib is just what she needed. After all, we are creatures of habit! We'll be heading to Wally World today to do some much needed grocery shopping. We'll leave after Hana's next feeding - more turkey! Yum! Last night her daddy gave her a taste of a brussels sprout. He just gave her one of the little leaves off of it. She wasn't too sure about it. Then later we let her taste a peach I was eating. She really liked that. She kept sucking on it and biting it with her itty bitty teeth! I did record it, but of course the video I took was after she had lost interest in it. It never fails. Speaking of videos, I have lots of videos and pics for you today...Enjoy!

"Look, Mom, no hands!"

Striking a pose.

Look at those cute, chubby, monkey legs!
(they're thinning out, aren't they?)

She uses her piano as a bongo now.
Are we related to Matthew McConaughey? LOL

This is the Fox water bottle Josh & Angela sent me.
I guess it's Hana's now. She really likes it!

I was finally able to catch this on tape!

She did this all on her own. She moved the baby
wipe container all by herself.
She's determined to climb up on that couch!

Mama?
Y'all are going to think I'm nuts, but I swear she distinguishes "mama" and "Dada" now! Joe called yesterday and I had him on speaker phone and the second Hana heard his voice she yelled "Dadada!" When she's around me she says "Mamama." No joke. I know she's pretty young for this so it may just be a crazy coincidence...or maybe not!

That's my daughter!

On a completely different note, I'm glad to report that the sewage problems we had were, in fact, caused by the City when they moved our water line. They came out this morning and ran a camera through the line and discovered they had done some damage, so they will be responsible for the repairs on that which should be completed in approximately 72 hours. It sucks that we paid Roto-Rooter $190.50 to snake the line, but we live and we learn, right? The City has been so nice and so helpful through all of this, I never expected that. They're also going to be removing the fire hydrant from our front yard tomorrow, what fun that should be.
