Look at my little sitter!
Sorry I didn't post an entry yesterday. I seem to be a lot busier these days. I wonder why? Could it be because I have a crazy, crawling six month old loose in the house? Me thinks so. This child is wild! The fun has just begun! So Jennifer and I went out for a little shopping yesterday. Actually, I must confess that I went to Hobby Lobby twice yesterday! Once to get a frame for Joe's desk (Hana pics) and the second time I went back with Jenn. I wanted to get another frame that time but the checkout line was too long. It was like the people were waiting to get on the Texas Giant or something! We looked for the supplies to make baby headbands with. We couldn't find them at Hobby Lobby or Joann's. Someone told us to try Hancock's, but neither of us know where one is. I just decided that it's cheaper for me to purchase them online than it is to drive around looking for the ribbon. We did find the elastic lace for the headband at Joann's but the lady I buy her headbands from uses this special ribbon that doesn't go flat and that can't be found anywhere! I wonder what I do when I don't have Jenn with me. As we were leaving Joann's Jennifer noticed that I had dropped Hana's headband and there it went blowing away in the wind. But she caught it! I just stood there like an idiot, sleeping baby in car seat in tow (which has to weigh about 50 pounds)! But our little princess did something new yesterday: she sat in the shopping cart at Hobby Lobby! We used the little cover I think Mom got for us, which is way too cute! She loved it! She obviously knew this was a big milestone for her because she seemed so proud of herself.
She also did a very good job of not dropping the toy I brought for her play with while we shopped. She must have worn herself out trying to grab everything within reach because she zonked out when she got back in her car seat, which is why she was still in it at Joann's. She slept all the way through that store! When we were leaving Hobby Lobby this nice lady told Hana that she was surprised the sun was even out because Hana was shining so bright! (whatever that means!) People say the darnedest things to beautiful babies!
We had a good time yesterday. Jennifer witnessed the crawling, the sitting up, and the loud talking - she's going to be just like her Mama! Jenn even got to feed her a bottle.
While Jennifer was here we watched a couple episodes of Deion & Pilar: Prime Time Love. It's Deion Sanders' reality show. First I have to ask: what is up with his kids' names? I understand the older two: Deion Jr. and Deiondra. (Yes, spelled just like his with an added "dra"). But what possessed him to name his younger boys Shilo and Shedeur? His poor baby girl is Shilomi! And my next question is: why aren't they in Hana's play group? LOL They live right up the road from me off Preston. Jenn and I are watching the show and they're driving down Preston and pass the Frisco water tower! So I went and looked it up on Collin CAD....over $14 million for the house and then some property for just under $2 million! Holy Crap! I watched another episode after Jennifer left and in the beginning Pilar states they live in a little town called Prosper...just a hop, skip, and a jump north of me! In that same episode his wife went to get her nails done. Where you ask? At Nails Now, where Mom and I got our pedicures the last time. Now I'm going to be on the lookout for that mafia-style van Deion drives! First Randy White, Now Deion Sanders! Why don't I run into these people at Wal Mart or Kroger? LOL
Well, I hear Hana Grace stirring. I'm off to start getting ready for our play date!
Blog ya later!
