What Is That?

Okay, okay, okay. I know I've been a bit of a smart "a" when it comes to Hana teething. I guess she is truly teething now! You can't really tell in the picture, but she's getting a tooth! I felt it yesterday and it's a little bigger today! It's still working it's way out, that's why you can't see it in the picture. But in person, if you look closely inside her mouth you can see it. I just knew that if I posted this info and did not provide a picture I would be in serious trouble. So, I provided the best picture I could. It should be plenty visible for the 4th!

Let's see, it's been a couple days since I blogged last, Mom made sure I knew that! We haven't been doing much of anything (except growing teeth). We had an afternoon of fun in the sun - well actually the shade - yesterday. I got in the pool with Hana, which was a sight to see. The little thing is not much bigger than my butt! I have to admit though, it was refreshing! =) Joe even got in with her for a little while. The neighbors were out so I made sure they could see Hana. I didn't want them to think Joe and I were being extremely white trash and taking turns cooling off in the kiddie pool! Hana seemed to have a good time. Every once in a while she'd get fussy, but overall I think she enjoyed herself.

She also had prunes for the first time yesterday. This was her very first taste of a fruit and once again, she loved it!

I also have a video of her eating the prunes but I'm having a hard time getting it to upload.

And I got a little creative with the baby cage.

Instead of attaching the two ends, I just made a barrier out of it. Now she has the whole living room floor to roam around on but she can't pester Pagan or get away! She really does like the cage. She just pulls herself up with it and stands around all the time! I keep waiting for her to figure out how to walk while holding on to the walls. That day will come soon enough!
