Mondays suck. Even though I don't have to get up and "go to work," they still suck. Hana was in an especially playful mood this morning so Joe had a really hard time leaving. It made me feel bad yet happy. I'm so happy that I'm able to stay here and play with my baby girl all day. I know I am truly blessed.
We had an eventful weekend. Dave, Annie, and Helen came over Friday evening. I cooked a pork roast and Joe claims it was the best ever. It's so hard! LOL. We had a great time with them until they had to leave, Helen didn't get much of a nap on Friday so she was literally just going through the motions. She was still such a good little girl for being so tired. They're cue to finally leave was her getting one of the pillows off our couch and laying her head on it right in front of Annie. Too cute! Saturday Joe did outside work with Pedro and Juan Manuel from across the street-that's a story for another day. It's definitely a story that should be told in person, it's just way too funny! Then yesterday we had Betsy and Alvin over and Joe cooked fajitas. De-licious! We had a great time with them as well. And now here we are on Monday! As much as it sucks to say goodbye to Joe in the mornings, I love every minute of my alone time with Hana Grace. She's a real handful now. She thinks Pagan's toys are for her too...GROSS!
I thought I'd post a few pics of Hana's room so you all can see where the princess sleeps. I know most of you have seen it but only once or twice.
And here's my favorite view at our house. I love looking out into our backyard (if you look closely, you can see the Red River, LOL!) I guess it makes me feel "at home." Growing up at the lake I was surrounded by green, which I love. The years I lived in my apartment in Dallas I didn't get to see much green or the stars. But up here I can still feel like I'm in the country but great shopping is only 5 minutes away!
