Busy, Busy, Busy

What a busy day! We have been going pretty much nonstop all day long. Unfortunately we had to skip our play date today in order to get everything done before we head to the Lake for the weekend. We've been to Ross, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Kroger today. It may not sound like much, but when you're toting a 6-month old, brushing your own hair can become quite the task! Now we're done and waiting for Daddy to get home. Around 5:00 Hana will have some squash and then we'll be anxiously awaiting Jenn Ellen's arrival. She's babysitting tonight while Joe and I take an infant CPR class at Baylor Frisco. We had signed up for this class when I was pregnant but work got in the way and we never had a chance to go back. But now that Hana will be eating finger foods in a little over a month, we think it's important to know how to give her CPR - just in case!

In anticipation of Jenn's arrival, I dug out her old sticker book. Those of you who read her blog and the comments on it will understand that one. See, she used to have this sticker book that she just added stickers to, she never actually used the stickers because they were too pretty. She passed the book (and the quirkiness) down to me when I was little and I still have it. I never really used the stickers either. I was also like that with erasers and pencils. Weird, huh? Lisa Frank and Sanrio Surprises made a lot of fun erasers that were shaped like all sorts of things and pencils with all sorts of things on them. I collected them and never used them. I wonder if Mom and Dad still have any of those? Anyway, Jennifer commented on her blog the other day about how she apparently hoards her scrap booking (card making) materials. If it's too pretty, she just can't use it! I know the feeling. You're saving it for something special, but you don't know what. I thought it would be fun to let her look through the old sticker book while she's here. Most of the stickers don't even stick any more!

I hope she brings her camera! And if she does, I hope Hana Grace is feeling photogenic! I'm really looking forward to some new pics. Plus, I need to send some to Joe's Mom. She's probably wondering what's going on. I usually send her some every few weeks.

Y'all have a nice afternoon and evening, I'm going to learn how to save lives!

Oh, and by the way, I was officially informed by the nice lady at Bed Bath & Beyond that their coupons do not expire. Pay no mind to the expiration date! Sweet, huh?

Well, I went on a hunt for the pencils and erasers..did not find them, but I did find your crayola box (Josh's old Fisher Price tool kit) It has tons of broken crayons inside, and you had colored the front of it all colors and wrote "Courtney Clark and Diann Cupcac You". What in the world was that all about? I suppose Josh was telling you that your name was not "Cupcake"!!Seems like it was just the other day....... Capture every moment, life will pass you by..... I kept the box out so you could look at it, and you can either keep it or throe it away...you are the thrower away Pro!!!
