Cinco de Mayo Feliz!
(Is that right?)
I have no idea what's going on with Hana. This is the 4th night in a row that she has woke up crying. The past two nights we just put her in bed with us after trying EVERYTHING else! I've been reading about nighttime separation anxiety, it could be that. It could be a number of things. Apparently when babies are learning to do new things, such as crawl, it's common for them to wake up at night because the urge to try their new trick is overwhelming. I don't know. I do, however, think it's time for her to sleep in her own room. I think her own comfy bed might do the trick. The catch is we are going to Galveston at the end of the week for Aunt Victoria's graduation and we are taking her playard (what she's sleeping in now) with us to be her bed at the hotel. I just don't think it's a good idea to change her sleeping arrangement right before we head out of town. I think it might be a bit too stressful. Then again, what do I know? I just read everything I can about babies and try to figure out what applies to Hana. I can't have her crying all night and keeping Joe up though. Maybe we'll try sleeping in her own room tonight and see how that goes. I know babies aren't "by the book," I just have figure it out on my own, the only thing is I thought I had her figured out! Maybe I never truly will.
Enough of that...Mom and I saw "Rain: The Beatles Experience" yesterday. There aren't words to describe it! I thought Mom was going to hyperventilate! No, seriously. She stared wide-eyed and open-mouthed for the first 30 minutes of the show! I can't go into too much detail for fear I'll ruin it for Jennifer & Dian. But I will say this...ABSOLUTELY FREAKIN' UNBELIEVABLE! It was like being at a Beatles concert. Mom says it's the closest she has and will ever get to seeing the Beatles perform in concert. We were both practically moved to tears. I'm looking them up and seeing them again and I'm taking Hana and Joe with us next time. http://www.rainthebeatlesexperience.com/
I forgot that I missed a day of blogging. (I think I'm becoming a blog-aholic!) I haven't even mentioned how much fun we all had at Helen's 2nd birthday party! Let's just say that Hana and I are going to join The Little Gym. We had a blast! I haven't seen Hana smile and laugh that much EVER!!! We danced and sang and played with bubbles and sat on a blow up bouncy thing while the older kids bounced us around! It was too much fun! Hana was a hit! Everyone just loved her; who wouldn't?! She was exhausted by the time the party was over. The poor little thing was trying to take it all in but it was all too much for her. I didn't even have her buckled in to her car seat before she zonked out!
By the way, what is a vlog? Now I'm hearing about vlogs! Am I already behind the times with my blog?!
