The Baby Whisperer

So Josh may be the family dog whisperer, but I'm pretty sure I'm married to the baby whisperer. Hana cried for maybe 2 minutes last night! I don't know what Joe said or did to her, but when he was done she was asleep. I am amazed. Of course, that's not to say tonight will be easy again, but we can always hope!

So I went to EZ Mail today to send a package. It was Zonerriffic! Not only can you ship things, buy stamps, have something notarized, etc., you can also buy baby clothes, candle holders, gift bags, and so on! I half expected Jana Boozer to step out from around back! I'm telling you guys, Frisco is the "City Zone!" That's why we love it so much! I mean, can you imagine how well our beer/bicycle/cell phone/consignment shop would do at the lake? Wait, he does alterations there too, and there's a flower nursery around back! As always Hana was a hit at EZ Mail - even after she spit up so bad she left a puddle on her chest!

Then it was off to (dare I say) CARTER'S. Darn you, Mother! See, I went in last week and bought a bunch of clothes and bibs for Hana, then Mom comes up this past weekend and buys a bunch of bibs and clothes for Hana. Amazingly the only duplicates were 2 bibs which, of course, I had to exchange. Hana can't have 2 of the same bibs; what would people think? They would think she's wearing the same ones over and over again, and you know we can't have that! Of course I got sucked in. Why, oh, why must I live is such a wonderful place where shopping is readily available?! No worries, Joe, I didn't do much damage. I just checked out the $5 section and the 50% off section and got her a few 9 month onesies. I do blame my mother though, if she wouldn't have bought those bibs then I wouldn't have had to go exchange them and I wouldn't have ended up back at Carter's where they know us by name! Although, I suppose it's not Mom's fault they know Hana & me by name...Love you, Mom!
